Mother of two is safe

Lindhaven’s Lianie Fasen, who was recently reported missing, is fine and well. The mother of two went missing on Tuesday, 11 October, after dropping off her two children at her mother’s home. According to her husband Willem, she contacted the police, indicated she was not missing and asked for the report to be withdrawn.

“We opened a case with the police because our family was frantically looking for her. We are happy she is safe,” he said.

However, according to comments on Facebook, Lianie fled her home because of alleged domestic violence.

Before she went missing, Lianie was last spotted near Laerskool Dr Havinga in Witpoortjie.
