Johannesburg Water has responded to the problems on Nic Diederichs in Wilgeheuwel roads.
Eleanor Mavimbela, external communications officer for the entity confirmed, “The depot did do a site inspection and they were able to unblock the sewage leak.”
Resident, Barbara Modes also confirmed the fire hydrant had been tightened and was no longer leaking. Modes discovered the fire hydrant had been attended to recently during one of her morning walks. “Everything seems to be in order for now, ” Modes said with a smile.
