Heritage celebrated at Lantern

The whole school participated in beautifying their school gardens, by planting trees and flowers.

The pupils from Lantern School celebrated their different cultures and heritage recently.

The whole school participated in beautifying their school gardens, by planting trees and flowers. The Grade 5 pupils decided to get their hands dirty in a different way and dipped them into paint to make colourful handprints that were also placed in the garden.

The highlight of the celebration was the pupils and teachers dressing up in their traditional dress, making for a bright and colourful celebration.

“We have pupils from Ghana, Swaziland and Nigeria. Even the teachers took part in the celebration,” said Rina la Grange from the school.
