Ward Councillor invites residents to meeting
The session will take place at the Roodepoort Civic Theatre, Phelindaba Chambers, First floor, 100 Christiaan de Wet Road, Florida, from 7pm.
All residents of Roodepoort’s Ward 84 are invite to attend an Integrated Development Plan (IDP) resident engagement session on 18 October.
Gert Niemand, the newly appointed ward councillor for Ward 84 (which includes Discovery, Hamburg, Selwyn, part of Florida Lake, Georginia, Roodepoort (West, North and the CBD), Horison, Horison View, Cresswell Park, Manufacta and Technikon) is inviting all residents to attend this session and put forward their ideas on how to upgrade the ward for the 2017/ 18 financial year.
The session will take place at the Roodepoort Civic Theatre, Phelindaba Chambers, First floor, 100 Christiaan de Wet Road, Florida, from 7pm.
Ideas can include the upgrading of parks, green gyms, resurfacing of roads or any urban upgrade that requires capital expenditure.
