TAKE NOTE: Road closures and blasting
WELTEVREDEN PARK - Road closures and blasting to make way for the pipes of the F46 Rand Water pipeline project.
The 18-month-long F46 Rand Water pipeline project is well underway.
As the project progresses, blasting is unavoidable in two areas in the trench to remove natural rock and make space for the 1.4m pipe.
The blasting will occur tomorrow (28 September) between 12pm and 2pm in the road reserve along JG Strydom Road in Weltevreden Park and between Tamarisk and Lobelia streets in Weltevreden Park.
During this time, the traffic will be diverted from JG Strydom Road and the public is advised to keep sensitive pets indoors.
