The Have a Heart Care Centre for the underprivileged elderly will be hosting a Golf Day at the CMR Golf Club in Maraisburg on 17 November. The event, which will start at 9am, is a 4-Ball Day at R2 000 per four-ball.
For the day to be a success, 25 teams are needed to sign up for the golf day and everyone, whether novice or professional golfer, is welcome. Food will be provided for all those who support the fundraising event. The purpose of the golf day is to raise funds for a mini-bus to transport the elderly to hospital for their medical check-ups.
The centre is sending out a plea to all golfers who have a heart to participate in the fundraising effort. Companies are also invited to sponsor a hole and advertise their products on the day. Many prizes can be won on the four-ball golf day.
