The real action at Ridgevale Primary

It may have been a staged drill made as realistic as possible, but it was still a dramatic day for the pupils of Ridgevale Primary School.

Evacuation procedures in case of emergencies such as bomb threats and attacks were demonstrated by the Roodepoort SAPS and JMPD officers. ER24 Joburg West’s Hentie Malan, and Zelda and Quinton Mulder were on scene, while members of the Roodekrans Neighbourhood Blockwatch and DMS Security kept an eye on proceedings and set up a barrier around the school.

A drone caught all the action on the day.
