What does your handwriting say about you?

Whether neat or untidy, your handwriting can speak volumes about you are a person.

Five thousand different personality traits can be picked up from a person’s handwriting.

This is according to Pens.com, which looks at the study of handwriting, called Graphology – a study of the size, shape and spacing as well as other aspects of how a person writes letters. This study can reveal a person’s personality as well as detect lies or health issues.

Size matters:

Large letters indicate that you are an outgoing, outspoken and love attention. Average sized letters show you are well-adjusted and adaptable while small letters show you are a shy person who is withdrawn and meticulous.

Some need their space:

Wide spaces between words show that person loves their freedom and does not appreciate being overwhelmed or crowded. Small spaces between words show nearly the opposite, where this person tends to crowd people and be intrusive.

Under pressure:

Someone who applies heavy pressure when they write is good at making commitments and taking things seriously, while an over heavy hand could show the person is uptight and can react quickly to criticism. A light hand shows you are sympathetic, empathetic and not vain.

Life in the fast lane:

People who write quickly don’t like time wasters and can be impatient while slow writers are organised, methodical and self-reliant.

To use an example of handwriting to deduce a lie, you only have to look for a change in writing style, if the words are suddenly bunched up or out of alignment, it could be false.
