Netball and hockey stars rise from Charterhouse
RADIOKOP – Charterhouse pupils excelled in various sports codes in the Randpark high Winter Sports Day.
Grade 6 Charterhouse Preparatory School pupil, Jenna Davis excelled in the Randpark High Winter Sports Day among her peers who made Charterhouse proud.
The Charterhouse boys and girls, along with other pupils from surrounding schools, were put into teams and participated in netball, hockey and touch rugby competitions. Jenna Davis was voted the top hockey player on the day whilst Paige Salis received a special mention for excelling both in the netball and hockey codes.
“All the boys and girls had fun and excelled in their teams,” said David Alcock, head of department of sport at Charterhouse.
“Well done to Thato Peete and Qiyaam Julius who formed part of the winning hockey team. Divanya Reddy, Mickayla Ribiero, Jessica Rossouw and Jenna Davis all represented the winning netball team,” Alcock added.
