Lights! Camera! Action!

The stage at the Roodepoort Theatre will be taken over by Hoërskool Linden’s choir from 9–13 August, when they perform the smash-hit musical, Grease.

With 114 cast members, the musical promises to be an explosive rock ‘n roll party. Some of the featured songs include Greased Lightning, Summer Nights, and You’re the one that I want, among many others.

The 1950’s pop culture of Grease struck a universal chord in people across the globe, causing a cult following to develop.

Set in 1959, when teenagers were into rock ‘n roll, stove-pipes, flared skirts, bubblegum and grease in their hair, this musical is vibrant and fast-paced.

Grease has no profound message; it is purely a fun-filled story of how the coolest guy in town falls in love with the nice girl, causing their worlds to collide in song, dance and sparks.

Be sure not to miss this production, as it promises to be an electrifying live performance.

Tickets are available at www.roodepoorttheatre.com/grease-info/ or you can call 011 472 1374 or 011 674 4135. Alternatively, you can contact Duncan Fourie on 072 210 2305.
