Edutrade recently donated laboratory and natural sciences equipment to the value of R11 000 to Horizon View Primary School, in line with the Mandela Day initiatives they held last month.
School principal Claudia Sono was elated at the donation from the Ruimsig-based company and said such an act of kindness would make Nelson Mandela proud.

“The school is excited and we are truly grateful for Edutrade for giving us a helping hand. This will help our pupils understand subjects such as natural sciences that need practical application. What the pupils learn in class will not just be abstract. This will go a long way towards making our school one of the best in Roodepoort,” she said.
Members of the Education Department for the school district, Pearl Maungedzo and Ayanda Nhlapo, were just as happy at the donation and both said the school will now be able to excel.
