Equestrian legend shares his secrets with local enthusiasts
HONEYDEW – Owners of Honeydew GPEP learn from the world renowned horse whisperer.
The team from Glover Paddocks Equestrian Park (GPEP) were privileged to meet world renowned horse whisperer, Monty Roberts, during his recent Johannesburg tour.
Wonder Nkosi, the manager of Glover Paddocks Equestrian Park, was part of the audience who watched Roberts’ outstanding display. Nkosi has been working with Roberts’ methods for the past 10 years to help him deal with difficult or young horses.
“That man knows what he is doing!” said Nkosi about Roberts.
The owners of GPEP, Kerryn and Michael Maher, as well as instructors, Aisling McCarthy, Tasmin Maher and Mikayla Maher , were also a part of the audience who were lucky enough to see this equestrian legend in action.
