One critical after accident
the minibus crossed the intersection and T-boned the light motor vehicle
Witpoortjie – One person was left critical after a collision occurred on the corner of South Road and Poplar Road in Witpoortjie.
The collision involved a minibus and a light motor vehicle. Allegedly the minibus crossed the intersection and T-boned the light motor vehicle.
According to Pieter Rossouw from ER24, when paramedics arrived on scene, they found a man in his mid-twenties unconscious in the driver seat of the light motor vehicle. The man sustained critical injuries and was treated and transported by ER24 to Leratong Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the minibus sustained moderate injuries and was treated and transported to hospital by another medical service on scene.
The cause of the incident remains unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
