Maragon Private School’s Rahil Singh was outstanding on his drums.
The grade 2 pupil was participating in the finals of the National Eisteddfod Academy.
The crowd was in awe as Rahil beat his way to become the overall winner in the junior category.
He performed on drums for more than five hours at the competition which had the most talented youngsters around the country.
The event was held at the Rooodepoort Theatre.
Rahil is no stranger to big stages, last year he won three awards at the West Rand Music Festival for best in percussion, best in drums and the category for best beginner.
