At Horison Methodist Church we have two recycle bins – one for glass, and one for paper. We really want to encourage people to recycle and care for God’s creation. However, people use it as a dumping ground for anything they don’t want.
The dumpers seem to think that they can dump it here and not wait for their next refuse collection day. Others passing by rip the bags open and before long the street and pavement is just littered from the contents. This isn’t a “once off” but a weekly occurrence.
Could you please remind people what recycle bins are for, and not for their rubbish.
