Lakeisha Timm and Lufuno Makhubela have made their school Constantia Kloof Primary very proud recently.
The two pupils represented the school and District 12 (D12) at the Johannesburg and Mogale (JOMO) Regional Netball Trials.
Timm who is a head girl at her school said she extremely happy with how far she progressed at the trials.
“Netball is a very interesting sport but it takes hard work, passion and dedication to succeed. It’s a physical kind of sport and I just have fun whenever I’m on the courts playing,” she said.
Grade 6 pupil Makhubela is even happier after she made the JOMO Regional team at the trials after impressing selectors with her talent.
“I am so happy and proud of myself. I have been playing netball since I was in grade 3 because my mother used to play the sport too,” she said.
