Maragon Private School’s Graytin Pretorius competed in the South African Championships of the Performing Arts.
This event is the only official National competition for seasoned and up-and-coming performers and entertainers.
Agents, recording companies, film producers, modeling agents and people from the entertainment industry around the world are invited to discover new faces and talent at the competition.
Over 9000 contestants from around the country competed and once again Maragon brought back the gold for the school.
Pretorius competed in 25 items such as acting classical, contemporary, comical, dramatical and open styles.
He also prepared five modeling items such as modelling for casual runway, formal, swimwear, photographic and spokes model.
In the championships, Pretorius excelled, coming home with 10 gold medals, six silver medals and three bronze medals.
He also won two trophies for the best overall actor in the 5 – 12 years-old category.
Pretorius was also awadred the best overall model in the 5 – 12 years-year-old category.
