In light of the recent unplanned power cuts in Florida, we need to ask some very tough questions of City Power. Who specifically is responsible for the maintenance of these important components of the electrical distribution system? Why are they not being maintained to a properly professional standard?

Please forward my letter to City Power’s Yumna Sheik and request a written response.

If we want to stop ongoing decay, I think we need to be very unforgiving about this. It is just not acceptable and those responsible need to be called to account in no uncertain terms. Name, shame and (preferably) fire if incompetent.
