Pupils in SANESA qualifier

Second SANESA qualifiers

Earlier this month, sixteen equestrian riders competed in the second SANESA (South African National Equestrian Schools Association) core league qualifier.

The event was held at Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm and the riders ranged from Grade R to Grade 7 pupils.

Pupils from Maragon Private School excelled at the competition.

Jessica de Wit was riding her horse Joep Ronnet as her highest positions were in second position in the level 5 performance riding and in position four in the level 5 working Hunter.

Changing her horse and riding Saratoga Anastasia, her highest finishes were fourth places in the level 2 jumping competition and level 3 performance riding.

Megan Wright brought pride to her school as she rode her horse Chevigon Winning Way.

She was in top positions in the level 5 extreme equitation and level 7 working hunter.

She also reached position 13 in the level 4 jumping accumulator and level 4 jumping competition.

Riding her horse Forest Fire, rider Caleigh Robson finished in first position in the level 1 extreme equitation and fourth position in the level 3 working riding.

Danica Robson, riding her horse Foxy, was impressive as she finished in first position of the level 1 extreme equitation and fourth in the level 1 working hunter.

Caylin Barendsen finished in third position of the level 1 prix caprilli test one as she rode the horse Chevigon Winning ways.
