Laerskool Roodekrans’ pupils Lehan Kruger, Udo and Amelie Brits added to their school’s prestige.
They excelled at the South African Nationals Talent Africa (SANTA) held at the Roodepoort Theatre’s Pro-Musica Auditorium.
Not only did they represent their school but were also representing Linda Theron Drama Studio which they helped win a mammoth 142 gold medals, 50 silver medals and 29 bronze medals as well as the Overall Drama School.
They were also part of the group that who won the Overall Best Junior Group and Overall Best Senior Group.
The studio qualified at Gauteng Regional with pupils 32 pupils who will represent South Africa in New York.
Their drama teacher Linda Theron, whose studio continues to excel national arts competitions was proud of all her pupils.
“These Goggas are very dedicated pupils. They are always willing to take on any part and to stand in when other pupils withdrew. I am proud to say that they are part of my studio.”
