Photos: Two truck accidents this morning

No one injured.

Two trucks were involved in two separate accidents this morning (25 February).

It is uncertain what had led to the first accident in Nel Street at around 6.30am, but the truck overturned. No other vehicles were involved and the driver came off unscathed.

The second accident took place at around 7.45am on the N1 at the 14th Avenue off-ramp. While emergency services and the Metro Police were attending to an unrelated accident, a truck’s brakes failed and it crashed into a stationary South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) bakkie. The truck then rolled down an embankment.

There were no occupants in the stationary bakkie and the tuck driver sustained no injuries.
