ALLEN'S NEK – Fun day for all at Allen Glen High School.
The Allen Glen High School hosted their fun day on 16 January.
The fun day saw a few past pupils, present pupils, families and teachers enjoy a day of amusing entertainment. The Grade 12 pupils hosted a food stand selling delicious hot dogs and boerewors rolls with the proceeds going to their up-coming Matric farewell dance.
The sports field was covered with huge jumping castles that included water rides and slides. Despite the chilly weather, many pupils still attended and helped create a fun day full of school spirit. Grade 8 form head Julia Schoombee said, “We were worried about the weather in the morning but decided to go ahead. It has been a great day filled with lots of fun and a positive experience for pupils and families to socialise.”
