Video: Festive spirit at carols by candlelight
Carols by candlelight left the audience wanting more.
About 200 people were dancing and singing along at the Carols by Candlelight hosted by In Christ Alone Ministries (ICAM) at Florida Lake’s Moth Hall on Friday, 11 November.
Both the young and the old excitedly lit their candles at the start of the ceremony before dancing to the beat of the drums played by the band.

“Instead of asking people for monetary donations, we noticed a few families did not bring along picnic baskets. So we decided to give those families hot dogs and cold drinks,” Alvin Montgomery, organiser of the event said.
Despite the weather being slightly chilly on Friday evening, attendants were still in a jovial mood and did not allow the weather to prevent them from enjoying the event.
Alvin also said the feedback that was given to him after the event took place, was positive.
“The evening turned out exceptionally well.”
