GALLERY: The voice of Creed makes a comeback
MULDERSDRIFT – Four bands entertain people at the Heia Safari Ranch with a variety of music.
It was a day of sun, fun and rock and roll when Scott Stapp – the voice of the American band, Creed – performed at Heia Safari Ranch in Muldersdrift on 13 December.
The show featured opening acts like up-and-coming Howie Combrink, Lost and Found and Prime Circle. The show was packed with music lovers excited to see Scott Stapp perform. People sat in the sun on picnic blankets with umbrellas and food from the various food stalls at the venue. Two unexpected guests also made an appearance. Two giraffes walked among the cars to the excitement of many showgoers.
After Prime Circle left, the crowd fired up, and Scott Stapp came on stage. He sang a combination of heavy rock music as well as popular songs from Creed. “This is my first show in 18 months. I am excited to be back, you guys are going to give me a workout,” said Stapp after singing his first song. The crowd went crazy, standing in front of the stage, shouting, screaming, dancing and singing along.
The day catered for families, older rock fanatics, young couples and teenagers alike.
