WELTEVREDEN PARK – L.A. Cobra, WonderBoom and The Eva Morgan Band rock Rumours Lounge.

South African bands celebrated Def Leppard’s brand new self-titled album at Rumours Lounge on 10 December.

WonderBoom, L.A. Cobra and The Eva Morgan Band gave astonishing performances and even performed some of the Def Leppard covers.

The self-titled album is the band’s 11th studio album – the first since Songs From the Sparkle Lounge in 2008.

The album has already reached number one on the Billboards’ Top Rock Albums Chart and is currently still in the Top 10.

From the instant hooks of the album opener and first single Let’s Go, to the bass groove of Man Enough, the anthems Sea Of Love and Dangerous to the acoustic Battle Of My Own, this 14-track album is timeless and will delight fans and win over a whole new generation.

Guests came out in numbers to celebrate the Scottish band formed in Sheffield in 1977 and went on to be one of the UK’s greatest rock bands. They have sold over 100 million albums worldwide in a career of three decades.

Guests won Def Leppard albums and T-shirts if they were dressed as an ’80s rocker.
