Maragon Private Schools Ruimsig announced their head and deputy head prefects during their final high school awards ceremony on 3 December.
Grade 11 tutor, Hannelie van Biljon said Callen Valkenburg was announced as head boy, Keabetswe Setlogomi as head girl, Cameron Bolt as deputy head boy and Keara Conradie as deputy head girl.
Valkenburg and Setlogomi described their vision for 2016,
“Our vision is to serve Maragon in its entirety for the betterment of the academics, sport, culture, service and the Christian ethos of the school. We aim to do this through leading by example, holistic participation, motivation and encouragement. We strive to involve as many pupils as possible across the five pillars while supporting each other, making memories and having as much fun as possible.”
Van Biljon said the school is pleased to welcome their new heads and is looking forward to the challenges in 2016.
