Comedy festival in it’s last stretch

Comedians light up Silverstar Casino.

The Trevor Noah NationWild Gala was in town this past weekend at the Silverstar Casino.

Fans made sure that all five of Noah’s dates (25-28 November) were sold out.

Opening the show was David Kibuuka who was also the master of ceremonies.

He was followed by Tats Nkonzo, Schalk Bezuidenhout, and Will Sylvins who warmed up the crowd with their different brands of humour which left the audience in stitches.

Without further delays, Trevor Noah then took to the stage and performed his unique comedy routines.

With his recent experience of becoming one of the most recognisable faces from South Africa, fans couldn’t wait to see him.

This is all due to his appointment as the Daily Show host, replacing Jon Stewart.

The Comedy Central International Comedy Festival encompasses 19 comedy shows over six days with more than 60 comedians across multiple venues at Silverstar.

From international acts such as Aries Spears, Hannibal Buress and Jeff Ross to Kurt Schoonraad, Casper de Vries, Celeste Ntuli and Chris Forrest.

There is still loads of comedians left to entertain until the 5 December.

Tickets for The Comedy Central International Comedy Festival are on sale now at Computicket from priced from R120 to R650.
