GALLERY: SA’s golden boy Trevor Noah returns for comedy festival
MULDERSDRIFT – Trevor Noah dazzles the crowd on the opening night of the International Comedy Central Festival.
Trevor Noah and other comedians gave outstanding performances at Silverstar Casino on 25 November for the International Comedy Festival.
Noah is back in the country for the festival after making South Africans proud for being picked to host the The Daily Show in the United States.
The International Comedy Festival launched on 25 November and will go on for five more shows that will end on 5 December.
The night was filled with laughter and comedians who performed at the opening night were Schalk Bezuidenhout, Tats Nkonzo and the man of the moment, Noah.
The show was filled with local and international celebrities such as the oh-so-glamorous Minnie Dlamini presenter of Soccer Zone, Leanne Manas of Morning Live, Senior creative manager at Coca-Cola Khaya Dlanga and many more that walked the red carpet in style.
Noah himself went on the red carpet while proud fans waited to see him and take photos.
Tickets are on sale at Computicket priced at R120 – R650.
Some of the comedians that are lined-up include Aries Spears, Basketmouth, Cape Town Comedy Club featuring Kurt Schoonraad, Carl Joshua Ncube, Carvin H Goldstone, Casper de Vries, Celeste Ntuli, Chris Forrest, Churchill, Darren “Whackhead’ Simpson and David Kau among others.
