Charterhouse show their kindness

RADIOKOP – Charterhouse Grade 3 pupils give donations to local charities funded by their own entrepreneur's day money.

The Grade 3 pupils of Charterhouse Preparatory school donated money and food to two charities.

Marketing coordinator Marvest Schools, Belinda Espag said the children used the profit they had made on their Entrepreneurs day to support the Randburg SPCA and The Joey Pouch Children’s Home.

Espag said the children donated money and dog food to the SPCA.

“The children handed over this donation to Craig Rudman from the SPCA during assembly,” said Espag.

She added that nappies, bags, and money was also handed over to a representative for Joey Pouch.

She explained Joey Pouch is a place of safety where abandoned babies up until the age of four is being looked after.

Espag said the children were proud to know they have contributed to a good cause.
