Caved road to be fixed soon
The exact time and day the road will be fixed cannot be confirmed yet.

Investigations are currently underway for the road that suddenly caved in in Eeufees Avenue, Florida Park. on Thursday, 12 November.
The sinkhole has been barricaded off since last week Thursday after residents alerted Community Forums in the area about the sinkhole and raising concerns about their safety.
The Record previously reported that residents in the area wants to cut down the trees close to the road because they feel it is the cause of the sinkhole.
Bertha Peters-Scheepers, spokesperson for the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) said they will first have to determine the scope of damage before they can confirm a date to have the road fixed.
“An exact time period for project commencement and completion can only be provided once investigations that verify the exact scope of work are completed,” said Peters-Scheepers.
She added a contractor will be appointed to undertake the necessary repair work and the JRA will secure the area to ensure the safety of all road users.
“We thank residents for their patience until remedial work is completed and urge all road users to be cautious.”
