Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya, Muldersdrift SAPS spokesperson and social crime prevention, said they held an awareness campaign against domestic violence on 11 November at Glenburn Lodge.
The campaign not only discussed domestic abuse, but also substance and drugs abuse, with employees of Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift.
The message was positively received, “We also spoke about 16 Days of Activism against the abuse of woman and children” said WO Ngwenya.
“I applaud the management of Glenburn Lodge for the partnership we have with them in the fight against crime.”
WO Ngwenya also encouraged members of SAPS to visit hotels and lodges around the area during parades in order to prevent crimes from occurring as the community approaches the festive season.
