STRUBEN'S VALLEY – New trampoline park, iJUMP opens its doors.
The new trampoline park, iJUMP with a 100 trampolines opened its doors on 14 November at Clearwater Crossing.
iJUMP CEO Soren Nielsen said he realised the need for something entertaining and active in the West Rand and came up with the idea to open up an iJUMP arena.
He added that this is the first iJUMP in South Africa and he is plans to open more parks in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria and Durban.
The park can host between a 100 to 120 children aged seven and up as well as adults.
“There is also a designated children’s area that can host between 40 to 60 children between the ages two to six years. The iJUMP arena can host up to a
1 000 jumpers a day,” said Nielsen.
The children’s area has a small jumping pit, a climbing wall, a maze, two different slides and balancing balls for the children to play with.
The park also has six party rooms where birthday parties can be hosted.
“I did a lot of research about jumping parks in Dubai and the United States. So, I felt I knew what was required to create a place of fun. The feedback we have received from people is phenomenal. They absolutely love it,” said Nielsen.
He explained the park has been built in such a way that adults can keep an eye on their children at all times.
“Besides the fact that the park has been designed in such a way that children will be visible to their parents at all times, we have also installed camera’s just to be extra safe,” said Nielsen.
Trading hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, Saturdays from 8am to 9pm and on Sundays from 8am to 7pm.
