Visions gymnasts are awarded for their hard work
HILLFOX – Vision Gymnasts did well in the South African Gym Games.
The annual South African Gymnastics Federation Awards Ceremony was held on 24 October at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg where awards were handed out to gymnasts for their victories they achieved last year.
Muhammad Mia, who trains at Visions Gymnastics at Hillfox, won the junior men’s artistic gymnast of the year 2014. Visions Gymnasts participated in the South African Gym Games from 4 October to 10 October where about 2 800 gymnasts and officials participate at this annual event from all nine provinces in South Africa.
The trampoline gymnasts also had great results at the SA Gym Games. Nina Holton came first overall in the mini tramp; Danike van Eyk came second overall in the mini tramp; second overall in the Euro tramp; Jayden Matthee came first in the mini tramp; Tristan Mortimer came first overall in the mini tramp and third overall in the Euro tramp.
