The BET Experience takes over The Dome in December
NORTHGATE – Local and international artists to grace SA at the first BET Experience in Africa.
International hip–hop artist Young Thug has been confirmed to perform at Ticketpro Dome for the BET Experience Africa on 12 December.
US rapper Young Thug is joining the line-up for the BET Experience Africa. He will perform alongside Grammy
Award-nominated international R&B sensations Tamar Braxton, Maxwell and Raphael Saadiq. African superstars AKA, Flavour, Diamond Platnumz and afro–soul sensation Nathi will also bless the stage with their performances.
There will be a comedy central stage and South African comedians David Kau, John Vlismas, Joey Rasdien, Tats Nkonzo, Celeste Ntuli, Jason Goliath and Skhumba, along with Kenyan funnyman, Churchill will bring great stand-up comedy to the festival.
For sneaker fanatics and footwear enthusiasts, BET has paired up with Hunting for Kicks to stage a 360-degree sneaker experience, showcasing rare vintage and collectable sneakers. Hunting for Kicks will also feature a swap meet, sneaker customisation and an exclusive sneaker-cleaning service.
One ticket can get you access to the whole experience of the festival including the evening concert, a fun-packed celebrity basketball game and the inspiring Genius Talks.

Ticket prices, which give access to all of the above, range from R750 on the mezzanine level, R1 150 for floor standing, R1 250 for floor bleachers and Golden Circle at R1 500. Students qualify for a 10 per cent discount by logging in to the Ticketpro website and using the passcode ‘Student’.
