HONEYDEW – Golfers and business staff play four balls to raise money for Foodbank SA.
SA Bachelor 2015 finalist Wayne Stafford hosted a charity golf day at Eagle Canyon Golf Club to raise funds for FoodBank SA on 30 October.
FoodBank SA is an organisation that collects food from manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. They redistribute the food to non-profit organisations that collectively feed hungry people daily all over South Africa.
As a SA Bachelor 2015 finalist, Stafford had to pick three out of five nominated charities as his social community development responsibility, to raise funds for throughout the competition. FoodBank SA was one of the charities that interested him.
He aimed to raise R30 000 on the day.
Stafford sold four balls for 18 holes to his guests and then later hosted a prize-giving dinner.
