Princess Crossing’s Road Race this weekend

Roodepoort Athletics Club will be hosting it's annual 10km road race at the Princess Crossing Shopping Centre

The Roodepoort Athletic Club in conjunction with Sportsmans Warehouse at Princess Crossing Shopping Centre will stage a 10km road race at the shopping centre.

The race will take place on Sunday 8 November at 7am and will start and finish at Sportsmans Warehouse, Princess Crossing Centre.

Cash prices will be awarded to the first the men and women’s podium finishers as well as the winners in the other categories.

There is no cut-off time for the race and walkers are welcome.

A 5 km Fun Run will also be held and will start at 7am.

Entries for the Fun Run will be accepted from 5am on the day of the race.

All finishers of the Fun Run will receive a medal. The first 300 finishers will receive their medals at the finish while the rest will be posted.

Entrance fee for the Fun Run is R25.

No licences are required for the Fun Run.

Athletes who are not registered with a club are welcome to take part.

However, these athletes will have to pay an additional fee of R20 for a temporary licence.

Entries for the race will be accepted from 5am on the morning of the race.

Entrance fee is R50 per runner.

Runners can also enter at enteronline.co.za until 4 November and at Sportsmans Warehouse Crossing Centre until 6 November.
