Think of our four legged friends this Christmas
Please donate to a worthy cause.

With Christmas just around the corner and people are gearing up for the festive holiday, share a though to our four-legged friends who does not have the luxury of spending time with a family.
For the month of November, the Record wants to collect dog and cat food, second-hand clothes and tinned food to be handed out the first week in December to underprivileged communities.
So often dogs and cats go missing when their human families are on holiday and animal charities are usually inundated with unwanted, lost and neglected pets.
The Record wants to make it a little easier for these charities and we request our loyal readers to please assist us in our project.
We are not asking for much. Every time you go to the shops, you only have to buy one tin of dog and/or cat food, or a bag of dog or cat pellets or tinned food for some very deserving people. Deliver to the Record’s office on the corner of Genl Pienaar and Ham street. It will be delivered to a deserving charity on your behalf.
If you decide to spring clean you house, please bring your second-hand clothes to us as well.
If everybody can donate just one bag or tin food, so many animals and people can have a better festive season this year.
Roodepoort Metal Exchange, without hesitation, jumped on board and said they will assist the Record to collect food and clothes. They also serve as a drop-off point and they are situated on Albertina Sisulu Road.
