Vision’s Gymnastics duo off to Japan
Kevin Basson and Eugene Ngcobo will be travelling to Japan.
Visions Gymnastics’ Eugene Ngcobo and Kevin Basson will be jetting off to Japan next month.
They will be involved in a training camp with the Japanese team and exchange ideas with them to improve their gymnastics skills.
The training camp will be for 14 days.
Basson was a gymnast for 10 years at Visions Gymnastics before going into coaching.
He is excited to be among those selected to travel to the country.
Basson started as a coach just three years ago.
“It helps that I’ve been where the gymnasts are because I can share my own experiences with them and help them become better. In Japan we will train with their national team and will be learning, teaching and improving the techniques of the gymnasts,” said Basson.
Ngcobo is one of only two gymnasts in the country to be chosen to participate in the training camp and he is looking forward to learning and improving himself.
“I’m excited to be traveling to Japan and I’m sure I will learn a lot from my trip and become an even better gymnast. I will share my experiences with the rest of my gymnsatsics mates here at Visions,” he said.
