History not on Bokke’s side

Join us and predict the score for this weekends match.

Buzzing is not the word I’d use to describe the current status of rugby fans around the world right now.

With just a few hours left until South Africa take on New Zealand in the first Rugby World Cup semi-final this year, electric is a better word.

These two teams have been facing each other since 1921 when the All Blacks beat the Springboks 13-5 in Dunedin.

The All Blacks is the in-form team of the tournament and will be confident knowing that in the 45 matches since the start of the professional era, the All Blacks have won 33 tests to the 12 of the Springboks.

The All Blacks latest victory came in the Rugby Championship earlier this year when they beat the Bokke 27-20 in a thrilling match in Johannesburg.

The Caxton West Rand staff, which includes, Roodepoort Record, Randfontein Herald and Krugersdorp News have gotten together to predict the score for this weekend’s match.

It will be interesting to see who correctly predicts the score and has a bright future as the office sangoma.
