We feature the men who will be leading their teams in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

If you see people running around the streets with their bokke jersey covering their faces, screaming inaudable words then you should know it’s here. What am I talking about? It’s the 2015 Rugby World Cup. In just a few hours, England will be taking on Fiji in the opening match of biggest tournament in rugby. Today, we feature the captains of the 20 teams that will be participating in the showpiece.

Captain – Agustín Creevy
Agustín Creevy (born 15 March 1985 in La Plata) is an Argentine rugby union player. He currently plays for the national Argentina team The Pumas and for Worcester Warriors in the Championship. He plays as a hooker, but has also played flanker and was selected for the 2010 June tests against Scotland. His test debut for Argentina was in 2005 when he played against Japan in Buenos Aires.
New Zealand- Richie McCaw
Richard Hugh “Richie” McCaw (born 31 December 1980) is a New Zealand rugby union player, the current test captain of the All Blacks. He is the most capped test rugby player of all time. He predominantly plays in the openside flanker position for the New Zealand, Crusaders and Canterbury teams, but had also played as blindside flanker and no. 8. McCaw is considered by many as the greatest openside flanker of all time, with his ability to anticipate play and adaptability to referee’s law interpretations two of his key attributes.
Tonga- Captain Nili Latu
Nili Latu, playing name of Otenili Langilangi (born 19 February 1982 in Afa) is a Tongan rugby union footballer. He currently plays for the NEC Green Rockets in the Japan Top League. He has also captained the Tonga national rugby side at international level, and has played for the Pacific Islanders on their tour to Great Britain and Ireland. His usual position is flanker.
Georgia- captain, Mamuka Gorgodze
Mamuka Gorgodze (born 14 July 1984) is a Georgian rugby union footballer, currently playing in the top French professional rugby competition, the Top 14. He currently plays for reigning Top 14 and European champions Toulon, having signed with the club in 2014 after having played for Montpellier since 2005. His usual position is Flanker or number eight, but he played his early career as a Lock. He is nicknamed “Gorgodzilla” by his former Montpellier teammates, and “Gulliver” by Georgian fans. Both stem from his imposing size and rampaging style of play.
Namibia- Captain Jacques Burger.
Jacques Burger (born 29 July 1983 in Windhoek) is a Namibian rugby union loose forward who plays for Saracens in the Aviva Premiership. His height is 6 ft 2 in and he weighs 105 kg.
France Captain Thierry Dusautoir.
Thierry Dusautoir (born 18 November 1981) is a French rugby union player who currently plays for France at international level and Toulouse in the French Top 14 club competition. Dusautoir is considered as a strong ball carrier with good speed and possessing the right amount of strength to break tackles. He first played for Bordeaux-Bègles before moving to US Colomiers for one season, and then signed with Biarritz. He played in the final of the 2005-06 Heineken Cup at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, which Biarritz lost to Irish teamMunster 23–19. Despite losing the Heineken Cup, Biarritz did manage to win the final of the 2005-06 Top 14 40–13 against Toulouse.
Ireland Captain Paul O’Connell.
Paul Jeremiah O’Connell (born 20 October 1979) is an Irish rugby union player who plays Lock for French Top 14 side Toulon and Ireland. He is Ireland’s fourth most-capped player (104) and joint-fifteenth most-capped international player in rugby union history. O’Connell has captained Munster, Ireland and the British and Irish Lions.

Canadian captain Jamie Cudmore
Jamie Cudmore (born 6 September 1978 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian rugby union player currently playing for the Top 14 club ASM Clermont Auvergne. Previously Cudmore played for Llandovery RFC, Llanelli RFCand FC Grenoble. He has been nicknamed ‘Cuddles’ by his team mates, an ironic moniker considering Cudmore’s tough and ruthless style of play.
Marius Tincu (born Vânători, Iași, 7 April 1978) is a former Romanian rugby union footballer. He played as a hooker. Since 2007, he has held dual French-Romanian citizenship. He was first noticed in Romania, but soon moved to France, where he already played for Rouen, La Teste, Section Paloise until 2005. He currently plays for USA Perpignan, since the 2005-06 Top 14. Tincu played his first game for Romania on 3 February 2002 against Portugal. He played in four games at the 2007 Rugby World Cup, scoring three tries, in the games against Italy, Portugal and theNew Zealand. He also competed at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
Sergio Parisse (born 12 September 1983 in La Plata, Argentina) is an Italian rugby union player. He was the first Italian rugby union player to be nominated for the IRB International Player of the Year. He has captained French team Stade Français and is current captain of the Italy national rugby union team. Parisse is widely considered one of the greatest number eights of modern rugby.
South Africa captain Jean de Villiers
Jean de Villiers (born 24 February 1981 in Paarl) is a South African rugby union player. He started his career at wing, but now primarily plays inside centre. De Villiers plays for Western Province in the Currie Cup, the Stormers in Super Rugby and internationally for South Africa, for whom he was named captain in June 2012.
Michael Leitch(born 7 October 1988) is a Japanese rugby union player of Fijian origin who plays in the back row for the Japan national rugby team. Leitch was born in New Zealand to Fijian parents but moved to Japan at age 15 to study. He learnt the Japanese culture and language which he says he now speaks better than English and is considered well integrated to Japan. In 2008 he captained Japan at the Junior World Championship. He made his international debut later that year against the USA in Nagoya aged 20 and quickly established himself as a regular member of the national side.
USA Captain Chris Wyles.
Chris Wyles (born 13 September 1983 in Stamford, Connecticut, United States) is an international American-English rugby union player who plays for the USA Eagles and plays his club rugby for Saracens in the Aviva Premiership. He usually plays as a fullback or wing, but can also play as a centre. Wyles is the most-capped fullback of all time for the U.S. national team. Wyles has captained the USA national sevens team, which is a core team on the IRB Sevens World Series.

Samoa Captain Ofisa Treviranus.
Ofisa Treviranus (born March 31, 1984) is a Samoan rugby union player. Treviranus played for Samoa’s national seven’s team and was part of the 12 men squad who won the IRB Sevens World Series in 2010. He made his debut for the fifteen men code against Japan in Sigatoka on June 18, 2009. He was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup squad for Samoa, and played in 3 matches. After the world cup, Treviranus was signed by English club London Irish. He previously played for Irish club Connacht Rugby.

Scotland Captain Greig Laidlaw.
Greig Laidlaw (born 12 October 1985) is a Scottish rugby union player. He plays as a scrum-half and out half, currently with Gloucester. A nephew of Scotland scrum half Roy Laidlaw,he joined Edinburgh in the summer of 2006. His first-team opportunities were limited at first behind Scotland scrum-half Mike Blair, but in 2010 he signed a new two-year contract.
Sam Kennedy-Warburton (born 5 October 1988), commonly known as Sam Warburton, is a Welsh internationalrugby union player. Warburton plays regional rugby for the Cardiff Blues and was first capped for Wales in 2009. He usually plays as an open side flanker but is also capable of playing at blindside. In June 2011 he was named as Wales captain versus the Barbarians and subsequently in August 2011 he was named as the Wales captain for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Warburton holds the record for the most Wales caps as captain.
Fiji captain Akapusi Qera.
Akapusi Qera (born 24 April 1984) is a Fijian professional rugby union player for Montpellier in the French Top 14. A Flanker or No.8, Qera is from a sporting family; his father was an international cricketer for Fiji and his brother also played international rugby for Fiji. He is also a first cousin of Fiji test international Viliame Veikoso. Qera is a current test international and has also captained the national side. A key player for Fiji during their 2007 Rugby World Cup campaign in France, he scored three tries and was later voted third in the Guinness Premiership player of the season awards for 2007–08.

Uruguay captain Santiago Vilaseca.
Santiago Vilaseca (born 17 September 1984 in Montevideo), is an Uruguayan rugby union player. He currently plays aLock for the Old Boys Club in the Campeonato Uruguayo de Rugby. Vilaseca, represents the Uruguayan national team and has captained the side on many occasions, most notably during the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Having earned 32 caps for his country, on 30 August 2015 he was selected to captain Uruguay into their first World Cup campaign in 12 years, the last being during the 2003 Rugby World Cup.

England captain Chris Robshaw.
Chris Robshaw (born 4 June 1986) is an English rugby union player. He is currently captain of the England national rugby union team. Robshaw’s position of choice is in the back-row, specifically flanker.
Australian captain Stephen Moore.
Stephen Moore (born 20 January 1983) is an Australian rugby union footballer, and current captain of the Brumbies and the Australian national team.
