Update: Police shrug off inappropriate search claims
Police say parents just angry.

Police Spokesperson Nonhlanhla Khumalo said the police will not investigate an incident where a female pupil allegedly was searched inappropriately during a drug raid at a local school on Friday.
According to Khumalo the allegations are rooted in parents unhappiness over the fact that their children’s cell phones were confiscated. She also said the children knew they were breaking the rules and therefor are making malicious accusations.
She vehemently denied that the girls were searched inappropriately, saying teacher as well as herself were present.
69 cell phones were confiscated and a small packet of dagga as well as two knives were found during the search.
