Bid the Bokke farewell

Say farewell to the Bokke.

The Springboks have invited fans to bid farewell to the team as they leave for the 2015 Rugby World Cup with a public send-off in Johannesburg today.

The team will leave for London tonight on a mission to win their third World Cup.

They will depart on two flights from OR Tambo, and arrive in England early tomorrow morning.

The special televised event at Monte Casino will feature all 31 players appearing on stage for a final team photograph as well as popular SA performers Lloyd Cele, PJ Powers and HHP.

Gates to the public viewing area at the piazza will open at 1.30pm with the entertainment scheduled to start at 2pm.

The Springbok team will arrive at 3.30pm and depart at 5pm.

Members of the public are urged to arrive early to secure their place as the standing area is limited.
