Ride a train and show support
For only R10, you can help the Rand Society of Model Engineers (RSME) maintain their facility.

Join in on the fun from 24 to 27 September at Len Rutter Park as the Rand Society of Model Engineers (RSME) hosts their four day Spring Steam Meet.
The railway track boasts a 1.2 kilometre length which will take place from 9.30am until 4.30pm for those four days.
Dennis Appelbee, RSME chairperson says “It is a fun outing for families and there will be lots of space available to have a picnic.”
The main steaming bay can accommodate up to about 30 locomotives which are mainly replicas that can be viewed by the community.
Although there is no entrance fee, a train ride will cost R10 which will go towards maintaining the facility.
Snacks and refreshments will be available.
