Due to a rainy weekend last week, the Art in the Garden exhibition (Kuns in die Tuinuitstalling) has been postponed to this Saturday 12 September.
“Given the setting, it was imperative that we protect artists’ work against the miserable weather and to move it out a week made the most sense,” said host and organiser Annemarie Heuser.
She organises the tri-annual event with her brother Wouter, both being artists themselves, and it is held in the garden of her own home at 5 New Street.
This weekend the familiar French music, freshly brewed coffee and beautiful art will welcome all that visit. The exhibition starts at 9am and at noon Ada Potgieter will perform, playing the silver flute. There is no cover charge.
