Bokke feats at the World Cup
2015 edition of the Rugby World Cup is less than two weeks away.

Chomping at the bits is what comes to mind when I look at the countdown towards the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
There are only 11 days left until rugby’s premium tournament begins. But to rugby fans across the nation, it might as well be a century away.
One way to calm the nerves while waiting is looking through the World Cup statistics that feature South Africans at the top of the list or worthy mentions.

Bryan Habana, the most successful Springbok wingers in our history, scoring 56 tries will be particing in his third World Cup campaign.
He is tied with the legendary New Zealand winger Jonah Lomu for the most tries in a single competition.
During the 2007 winning campaign, Habana scored eight tries and was named IRB Player of the Year.
Former flyhalf Jannie de Beer, who represented the nation in 13 tests, scoring 183 points stands atop a list every South African would be proud of.
He has a world record of five drop goals in a single test match, in the 1999 Rugby World Cup against England.
The Springboks won the match 44-21, knocking England out of the tournament.
Francois Steyn, who sent teenage girl’ hearts fluttering during the 2007 World Cup has the honour of having two accolades to his name.
A drop goal was what engraved him into the hearts of every South African and in the 2007 showpiece; he kicked the longest drop goal against England.
He is also the youngest player to win a world cup at 20 years 159 days old.
In the 2007 edition, South Africa beat England 36-0 in the group stages and then went on to play them in the final, winning 15-6.
Os du Randt is the only South African to have won the World Cup twice, once in the amateur era and once in the professional era.
The 1995 World Cup was the final major event of the amateur era.
The Springboks are tied with Scotland for the most amount of nil victories in a world cup.
In the 1995 edition, they beat Canada 20-0, four years later it was England 36-0 and then they beat Namibia 87-0 in the 2011 edition.
