Three killed in collision

Three people were killed and five more injured last night when two vehicles collided last night. The head on collision between a sedan and a bakkie occurred near Dobsonville, just off Main Reef Road.

ER24 paramedics were swiftly on scene and found the injured patients had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

“There was nothing paramedics could do for the three deceased patients. The injured patients were transported by emergency medical services to nearby hospitals for further treatment,” said ER24 spokesperson Pieter Rossouw.

The cause of this incident remains unknown, local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
