WATCH: Franschhoek Food and Wine in five minutes

Montecasino hosted the Franschhoek Food and Wine Festival from 28 to 30 August. The event showcased a number of vineyards and food producers, all keen to promote their products to Joburg consumers in attendance.

The event was festive, with musicians roaming the stalls and performances from the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra.

Some people manning stalls were asked to explain their products in 10 seconds. The result was a five-minute tour of what residents may have found at the Franschhoek Food and Wine Festival.
