An armed robbery occurred at Clearwater Mall on the morning of 1 September.
The mall’s general manager, Vicky Vlok was contacted but could not comment on record at the time.
Honeydew Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs confirmed that an armed robbery took place at the mall, but could not immediately confirm if a shooting occurred, as residents claimed on Twitter.
