Aerobics coaches invited to workshop
Aerobics coaches in region c have been invited to a coaching workshop.
The Roodepoort Sports Council president Aubrey Thomas has extended a hand of goodwill to all aerobic club coaches.
He is inviting all coaches who fall under Region C to attend a coaching workshop which will be held at the City of Jo’burg Metro Centre in Lovedale Street on 8 August.
In partnership with the Go Jozi Healthy Lifestyle programme, each aerobics club is encouraged to send more than one coach to the workshop.
“The workshop will train coaches in wellness and fitness. This will be of benefit to our region and I want all the coaches to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Aubrey.
According to the council president, there are 96 known aerobics clubs in Region C and even more that are not registered.
“Those who are not registered must do so with us so they can benefit from such workshops. We want to know all the clubs in every sport code in this region,” he said.
