Tip offs lead to successful arrests
MULDERSDRIFT — Police nab suspects after robbing and stabbing their victim.
Muldersdrift Police officers reacted to an armed robbery at Plot 89, Muldersdrift, on 23 July.
“Sergeant Mabila Radebe reacted swiftly to the tip off where a 34-year-old male was assaulted, stabbed and robbed of around R12 000,” said Muldersdrift Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya.
Two male suspects were apprehended and are expected to appear at the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court shortly on charges of assault and armed robbery.
“We applaud the quick response taken by the members of the police that lead to the successful arrest of the perpetrators. We appreciate the continuing partnership between the community members and our officers in the on-going fight against crime,” added Muldersdrift Police Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Kgaugelo Seabi.
